Luke 23:35-43
When they saw the written notice above Jesus, the soldiers and the criminals asked Jesus if He is the King of the Jews and to save them. This is because they did not believe in Jesus t be the King and that He could not save anyone who have done bad deeds.
We, the people, believe in the season of Christmas and its blessings and happiness that we share with everyone even though we did not really see the birth of Christ. Just like in the story, the people had a hard time believing in Jesus, that He is the King of the Jews. Faith is what keeps us strong and hopeful.
Matthew 24: 37-44
We should be ready for anything, a flood, coming of the Son of Man, anything. We should know what to do when the time comes.
When the coming of Jesus comes or in the season of Christmas, we should be ready and expect to think and reflect about our deeds, blessings, etc.
